Visiting Researcher, Bobo Nick, collaborates with Clique SRC

Bobo Nick joined the Clique team in UCD on 17th January 2011, collaborating as a visiting researcher for a six week stay. He is a PhD student from the University of Konstanz, working in the Algorithmics Group of Ulrik Brandes, Clique's external collaborator on visualisation. He is also a member of the Visone development team.

Bobo received a German Diploma in Mathematics with a special focus on Computer Science in 2008, investigating Network Creation Games with Disconnected Equilibria. Since then his work has been targeted at understanding evolving social networks. In this line of research, he is currently contrasting static with dynamic visualizations and panel- with event-based analyses.
